The vineyard de Bergerac and Duras

Montravel, Rosette, Pécharmant, Saussignac, Monbazillac, Côtes de Duras and Côtes de Bergerac are just some of the names that evoke the wines of Bergerac and Duras.

In a few words

With almost 2000 years of history, a palette of 5 colors and 17 Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) wines, the Bergerac and Duras vineyards are distinguished by the diversity of their wines.

Come and discover them in the vineyards or in the area dedicated to them at Quai Cyrano (the Bergerac tourist office). These site visits will be oenological, tourist as well as heritage discoveries.

Here, the grape varieties are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle, i.e. 10 grape varieties used to make “assemblage” wines (combining several grape varieties to make more complex wines).

Did you know?

Some thirty winegrowers proudly bear the Vignoble et Découvertes label, which guarantees a warm welcome and quality wine tourism offerings.

With accessible price ranges and colorful characters, the terroir can also be discovered through the palate, so let yourself be tempted (in moderation)!
